9 adults and 8 kids, we had a fantastic time! The house was beautiful and great location!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at JD & Carrie’s place! It was exactly the escape from New York City that our group needed. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly well thought out—every detail made our stay that much more enjoyable. JD & Carrie were fantastic hosts: incredibly responsive, accommodating, and helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into making sure their guests have a great experience. This place is truly a gem in the Poconos, and our group is already talking about coming back. We would absolutely stay here again and can’t recommend it enough!

Carrie and JD were great and the place in the Pocono's is one of the better properties I've been too especially with larger groups. The place is perfect for those wanting a nice retreat from the city. I would recommend it! Before booking: their listing states that there is a 16 person maximum but does not state that there is an additional cleaning/service fee for 10+ guests. They noted that this was airbnb's policy which was not made aware to me when I originally booked--but Carrie and JD were nice enough to honor the original booking price without an additional charge. Lastly, they had a cease and desist letter that was posted on the front of their property the day we arrived which led to a lot of confusion, but it was simply due to a permit issue that was already resolved. Our guests were a bit confused and nervous when checking in but Carrie and JD let us know what the situation was. It would be nice of them to let their guests know in advance to avoid any confusion in the future.

They mistakenly sent automatic message to check in at different place, which was 30 min away. That was waste of time but corrected right away. I had a great time.

The hosts are great communicators. The house was amazing! My large group was accommodated and the space was more than sufficient. The host was amazing and made sure our stay was comfortable every step of the way.

We loved our stay at this Airbnb! The house was beautiful, spacious, and very clean with lots of fun amenities for our group of 8. It was in a great location that was close to all of the activities and restaurants we had planned for our stay.
