We enjoyed staying here. The renovations done to this place to make it into the current accommodations are lovely. The host was very responsive to our messages. One thing to know is that during the business week Monday- Friday a lot of different businesses are closed to or have limited hours in the area. Would have given five stars, but was a little irked by an interaction with the host: one of us had placed a pair of shorts to hang dry outside of our room in the AM, which were not there when we returned at the end of the day. The host claimed they asked the cleaning people with no luck, but then claimed “the wind might have blown them away” on a day that literally had no wind. I would’ve been satisfied with a simple “we haven’t found them” but this seemed a little bit odd, making us believe that the cleaning people had found them and perhaps discarded them accidentally.
