Clean and comfortable stay in the woods. As typical with Airbnb’s like this, the kitchen supplies are a bit lacking, the decor is kitschy (live laugh love but with bears), and they don’t seem to know how to light a room for ambience. That said, it absolutely got the job done and we had a nice time. Jonathan was responsive to an issue we had with the hot tub (no heat controls, took 36 hours to heat up properly), but wrote a few too many times pitching us with upsells—discounted rates for an extra night, offers of flexible checkout for a fee, etc.—to the point that it felt automated. I don’t need to get spammed before my vacation, tyvm. He also wants you yo download some other app to manage the stay—not necessary. I mostly ignored him without issue.

We just got back from an amazing mini vacation in the Poconos and it was exactly what we needed. The place was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located — peaceful but still close to everything. JD was a top-notch host from start to finish. Super responsive, accommodating, and made sure everything was seamless. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. The house had everything we needed, check-in was smooth, and the whole vibe was relaxing and stress-free. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend staying here if you’re heading to the Poconos!

The chalet is in a peaceful area surrounded by forest, and close proximity to Lake Harmony, Jack Frost, and Jim Thorpe (30 min). Plenty of amenities for cooking, coffee, bed comfort, temperature comfort, and clean. Great place for a weekend getaway to ski, or chill in the surrounding area.

Beautiful secluded location in what seems like a small development but in a heavily wooded area. Host is incredible. House was very clean. Kitchen would be good to cook in for a small family. A bit pricey. The pool table was made literally of plastic. The photos are deceiving and could use more of a small description regarding the table itself. Taking a picture of potential fun and being let down over a pool table is a no-no in my business books. Other than that super nice place to stay. And JD is the best host I’ve booked with yet. Thanks man. Would absolutely stay again.

This home is beautiful. It was so cozy, my kids loved it. Communication with JD was great. The game room was perfect for the kiddos. Theirs also game boards so you have options. The fire pit is lovely we made smores and enjoyed the fire at night. It was so peaceful you wont regret your stay.

I felt instantly at home at the Chalet. The inviting décor created a truly comforting atmosphere, and the thoughtful touch of offering not only coffee but a mushroom-coffee alternative made the stay feel even more special. Being back on the soil of the Pocono Mountains was exactly what I needed. There’s a simple, wholesome feeling here that I haven’t found anywhere else since childhood. I’m already looking forward to returning.

Great place to stay. Fun game room. Close to many restaurants, ski resorts and hiking spots. Totally recommend!

My group spent the weekend at Jd’s place and couldn’t have had a better time! His place looked exactly like the photos. Jd was also very proactive in reaching out prior to our stay to ensure that all of our questions were answered, making our trip completely stress free. Jd was also very generous and extended our checkout by 2 hours, giving us more time to straighten up and pack up our cars - which was very much appreciated. If you are looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by beautiful fall foliage, this is the place to stay!
