The Pocono House | Hot Tub | Games | Lake Access

Weekend stay with my family of 4 and our doodle dog was really great. Also, our first experience with Airbnb. House was clean and ready for our arrival. We cooked 3 dinners in the home, using the grill and stove top. They had plenty of dishes and a dishwasher. Hot tub was warm and ready for us to use immediately. The game room has 4 games in it and a tv. We used it at least 3 times during our stay. A quiet neighborhood. We didn't have time, and weather didn't allow, to visit the community pool or lake, but we drove through. To take your dog to a lake, I highly recommend Hickory Run state park (Sand Stone Beach). Dogs have to be leashed, but because the house doesn't have a fence, we brought our 30' leash so he could be outside without running away. We visited Jack Frost National Golf, Hickory Run State park, Split Rock (pretty run down), Camelbeach (must visit with kids).

We had a lovely time at the house for an extended weekend! We are frequent AirBnB users and found this home to be very well maintained, plenty of cutlery and dishes, decent number of pans and a very clean bbq which we greatly appreciated - not always the case at some places we have stayed. The beds were comfortable and provided sufficient room for us all and the games room got ALOT of use by all! Hot tub was nice and we enjoyed sitting on the deck for dinners. Very quiet neighborhood and plenty of greenery. Short drive (5min) to community pool and beach and 10mins to marina and courts. Easy to get to and from the highways for day trips and trash/recycling drop off was super simple. Would recommend without hesitation for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! We had a great week! Adam was very responsive whenever we needed anything. The house was roomy and the perfect size. The game room and hot tub was awesome for our kids. The lake beach/pool was a short drive which made life easy. We hope to be back next year!

From initial booking to checking out Adam was polite, professional and very thorough with his instructions. Any questions we had, he immediately addressed them and helped to find a solution. The house was very clean and it was easy to locate everything. It was the perfect size for our family traveling with little ones. If you need a modest family friendly house, this one is perfect!

The property may not be the most luxurious place that we’ve stayed, it offered everything we needed for a comfortable and fun trip. If you’re looking for a good comfortable, spacious and dog friendly place to stay in the Poconos with a responsive host and all in all good value for your money - this is a solid option! The location was exactly what we needed - about 30 minutes from Great Wolf Lodge and roughly a hour an a half from Sesame Place which made it super convenient for our vacation. Knowing the dogs were safe and we weren’t far from them at all. Adam was an excellent host as well. Communication was clear and timely from the very beginning to the end of our stay and he provided plenty of helpful information about the community, the nearby restaurants and local recommendations. He was attentive without ever being intrusive… Super ideal

The Pocono house was very good! Access to a beach and pool and the clubhouse had really good food. The house was exactly as described and my son loved the game room. We brought 2 dogs with us, along with my toddler and infant and there were no issues. It was great to have a crib! There were tons of towels, the beds were comfy and the hot tub was awesome! Only things I would say is the porch lights could be brighter (it was a little dark going into the hotub at night) and there was coffee and sugar but no salt and pepper. We bought some, but it’s usually there. However that’s nothing to complain about. Adam was also extremely responsive. He checked in and always answered my questions in less than 10 min. He was a good host and I would highly recommend the Pocono house.

Our stay at the Pocono house was great!! The kids loved the game room and hot tub which was especially helpful since the weather was not the best. Everything was clean and well maintained. Adam was very responsive and proactive as a host and even had a new Keurig delivered the same day when the existing one wasn’t working. I really appreciated that there was coffee and k-cups to select from as I totally forgot to bring my own coffee! There were lots of deer around the neighborhood and even some traveling through the backyard early one morning while enjoying my coffee. We would totally stay at the pocono house again!

We had a great stay! The house is spacious and was very clean when we arrived. We loved cooking meals together, spending time in the game room, and relaxing in the hot tub and on the terrace. It was also nice to walk around the village.
